Honeoye Falls-Mendon Senior Citizens Club

The Honeoye Falls/Mendon Senior Citizens Activities Group invites all qualified seniors to “A Day at Chautauqua” on Sunday, June 29, 2014. A cruise liner bus will leave the Town of Mendon Falls Post 664 Community Center at 7:45AM for a buffet brunch aboard the sleek, state of the art “Summer Wind” on Chautauqua Lake. Following the Brunch Cruise, the bus will head for the historical Chautauqua Institute and its open air amphitheater for an outstanding performance by the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers Chorus. After the performance, approximately 4:00PM, the bus will depart for home with a fast food stop at individual expense.  Arrival at home will be at 7:30PM.  For further information, and to make necessary reservations, call Ray Milne at 624-4133.  The cost for this great outing will be $59.00 per person. Deadline for reservations and payment will be June 7, 2014, with no exceptions. There are only a limited number of tickets so it will be on a first come basis.

Regularly scheduled meetings for the club will be held on June 10th and 24th, 2014 beginning at noon at the Town of Mendon Falls Post 664 Community Center, 167 North Main Street, Honeoye Falls, NY. The first meeting in July will be on July 8, 2014.  Bring your lunch and following a short meeting, we will play Bingo and Euchre. The July 8th meeting’s primary focus will be finalizing the preparations and reservations for our summer picnic to be held on July 22nd at the North Main Street Rotary Park down behind the cemetery, across from the Mendon Community Center. Future outings are in the initial stages for this summer and early Fall, so keep checking the Sentinel as well as the Town and Village websites.  Look for Senior Citizens Activities or call Don Vogt at 624-8388 or Ray Milne at 624-4133 for current happenings.  The Club is always looking for new members, please feel free to come to any of our meetings.
